Add tracking to the work order automatically

What your software receives

Each update names the work order and despatch it belongs to, and includes:

• The courier and the shipment reference.
• The tracking references DHL returned for the packages.
• Where the labels are: ready, sent to the printer, or confirmed as printed.
• A unique event identity, so the same update can arrive twice without harm.

Updates carry no recipient address and no label files.

Updates your system can trust

Every update is signed with a key you hold, and each delivery attempt is signed afresh. If your system does not acknowledge an update, ParcelOffice retries with growing gaps for up to a day, then keeps it for an administrator to replay. An update your system rejects outright is flagged for attention straight away.

A pending or failed update never causes a second booking or a second label.

What happens next is your choice

ParcelOffice delivers the update, and your software decides what to do with it: store the tracking reference on the job, mark the work order as despatched or email the customer. ParcelOffice does not email your customers itself.

Set up and test the receiving side

During onboarding we agree where updates are delivered and how your system answers. An administrator can send a test delivery to check the connection before live use. Changing the receiving address is a reviewed administrator action, and outstanding updates can be moved to the new address after that review.
